#23: “加一双公筷 多一份爱心”

小杨已经有几个月没到外面的餐厅吃饭了。
今年5月,国内疫情好转,他决定和朋友一起到北京的一家餐厅用餐。
疫情 yì qíng = epidemic
好转 hǎo zhuǎn = to get better
点菜时,小杨发现服务员在每人面前放了两双筷子。
一双黑色,另一双白色。
这家餐厅小杨之前来过很多次,但是从来没这样。
服务员告诉他,为了卫生,他们决定给每人加上公筷,还特别区分颜色。
卫生 wèi shēng = hygiene
公筷 gōng kuài = a separate pair of chopsticks used for serving food
区分 qū fēn = to differentiate
政府鼓励人们用公筷
医生说,病毒可以通过餐具传染,所以吃饭时最好用公筷。
疫情期间,中央电视台 (CCTV - China Central Television) 播出了几则广告,鼓励大家用公筷。
餐具 cān jù = tableware or utensils
传染 chuán rǎn = to infect
广告 guǎng gào = advertisement
鼓励 gǔ lì = to encourage
其中一则广告有不同人在一起用餐的画面。
大家脸上带着笑容,用公筷夹菜。
广告结束时,出现了这个标语:“加一双公筷,多一份爱心。”
夹菜 jiā cài = to grab a piece of food using a pair of chopsticks
标语 biāo yǔ = slogan
另一则广告用的是卡通配着说唱的音乐。
广告告诉大家,要跟“不科学的陋习”说再见。
卡通 kǎ tōng = cartoon
说唱 shuō chàng = rap
陋习 lòu xí = bad habit
《人民日报》不久前在微博里写道:
“我们和文明饮食的距离,也许就差一双公筷。”
“使用公勺公筷,不仅是对自己的健康负责,也是对他人负责。”
微博 wēi bó = China’s Twitter
文明 wén míng = civilized
公勺 gōng sháo = serving spoon
习惯难改 公筷推行不易
有记者发现,许多人还是不习惯用公筷。
一位民众觉得这太麻烦:“公筷可能更卫生,但吃饭是我们大家放松的时间,不想有那么多小规矩。”
“我出去吃饭30年了,从来没感染过。”
规矩 guī jǔ = rule or regulation
另外一位受访者说:“特别不习惯,而且吃着吃着就忘了,不经意就用私筷去夹菜。”
有网友开玩笑说:“一喝酒,谁还记得哪是公筷还是私筷。也分不清了。”
不经意 bù jīng yì = inadvertently
私筷 sī kuài = the opposite of 公筷 (your own pair of chopsticks, not the common serving ones)
