#50: 小学生下课后自杀

江苏一名小学五年级女生下课后跳楼身亡。
跳楼 tiào lóu = to jump off a building (i.e. commit suicide)
身亡 shēn wáng = die
孩子的家长称，老师批评孩子作文没有“传递正能量”，怀疑与孩子跳楼有关。
批评 pī píng = to criticize
传递 chuán dì = to transfer / transmit
正能量 zhèng néng liàng = positive energy
6月4日，这名小学生上完作文课后，一脸痛苦，跑出教室。
随后，她爬出栏杆，跳楼身亡。
栏杆 lán gān = railing
“一个正常的孩子，她怎么可能没什么事情自己冲出去。”
家长质疑她在上课时受到老师过于苛刻的批评。
质疑 zhí yí = to question
苛刻 kē kè = harsh
孩子在一篇作文中批评人性的虚伪。
她写道：“在如今的社会里，有人表面看着善良，可内心确是阴暗的。”
虚伪 xū wěi = hypocrisy
表面 biǎo miàn = on the surface
善良 shàn liáng = kind
内心 nèi xīn = in one’s heart
阴暗 yīn àn = dark / evil
但是，老师却在这句话旁写了评语，要她“传递正能量”。
此外，整篇作文也被画满了红色笔迹。
评语 píng yǔ = comment
笔迹 bǐ jì = handwriting
但官方调查否认家长的质疑，说老师只在作文上写了“传递正能量”这五个字，红线部分是小孩过后自己改的。
据说这件事还在调查中。
调查 diào chá = investigation
否认 fǒu rèn = to deny
这件事引起网友对“正能量”的讨论。
中国政府常用“正能量”这个词，比如提醒大家要在网上“传播正能量”。
但是，不少人指出，这是限制言论自由的另一种说法。
限制 xiàn zhì = to restrict
言论自由 yán lùn zì yóu = freedom of speech
只有“正能量”，没有“负能量”，就会让社会变成一个只有赞美，没有批评的地方。
负能量 fù néng liàng = negative energy
赞美 zàn měi = praise
专家说，现在学校里不鼓励学生表达自己的真实想法。
“只有表达正能量，才能获得高分。”
