#59: 当星巴克遇上中药店

中药材 zhōng yào cái = Chinese medicinal ingredients / herbs
饮品 yǐn pǐn = drinks
始创于1669年的中药店“同仁堂”最近开了一间饮品店,吸引了不少顾客。
始创 shǐ chuàng = to be founded
中药店 zhōng yào diàn = Chinese medicine store / hall
同仁堂 tóng rén táng = name of very popular Chinese medicine store
这是同仁堂在北京新开的店。
店内的设计很特别,结合了中西方的风格。
设计 shè jì = design
结合 jié hé = to combine
风格 fēng gé = style
顾客一进门就会闻到中药的香味。
墙边的货架摆满了各种不同的中药材。
平时用来装咖啡豆的容器,现在也用来装中药材。
货架 huò jià = shelf (for goods / products)
咖啡豆 kā fēi dòu = coffee beans
容器 róng qì = vessel / container
虽然是工作日,来店里的人还是非常多。
很多顾客是年轻人,其中有不少是来拍照打卡的。
打卡 dǎ kǎ = to check-in (on social media)
网友认为,这家店很漂亮,但饮品没想象中那么特别。
一位网友说,店里的设计很现代。
现代 xiàn dài = modern
但是,她觉得罗汉果美式不好喝。
“罗汉果的味道不浓。”
浓 nóng = concentrated / strong
另一位网友则表示,“在中药店里喝下午茶的感觉,还是很特别的。”
但是枸杞拿铁让她失望。
“只是在咖啡里放几粒枸杞,没有惊喜感。”
惊喜 jīng xǐ = surprise
她希望同仁堂以后能把饮品做得更好喝。
店里的二楼也设有抓药问诊区。
抓药 zhuā yào = to “grab medicine”, i.e. to fill a Chinese medicine prescription by grabbing the appropriate amount of each herb
问诊 wèn zhěn = (medical) consultation
如果你身体不舒服,想看中医,可以到这里问诊。
中医 zhōng yī = doctor of traditional Chinese medicine
看完病后,直接在店里抓药。
此外,店里也提供针灸、推拿等传统治疗。
针灸 zhēn jiǔ = acupuncture
推拿 tuī ná = Chinese massage therapy
治疗 zhì liáo = treatment
今年,同仁堂将在北京开大约50家这样的店。
目的是要让更多人,尤其是年轻人,有机会认识到中药。
