上周，高考成绩公布。

在湖北省襄阳市 (Xiangyang city, Hubei province) 的高考排名中，有一位考生的名字听起来很熟悉。

高考 gāo kǎo = China’s college entrance examination
排名 pái míng = ranking
熟悉 shú xī = familiar

他就是19岁的王宇航。

原来他早已在2018年参加过一次高考。

当时他拿到了697分的好成绩，能够进入清华大学。

但进入清华后，他却发现自己选择的自动化专业并不是自己感兴趣的。

王宇航决定退学，回家重新参加高考，只为了能读到自己想要的专业。

自动化 zì dòng huà = automation (this student’s major)
专业 zhuān yè = major / field of study
退学 tuì xué = to drop out of school

幸亏，他第二次考试的成绩也很好，而且还比上一次高两分。

这次，他拿到了699分，全市排名第二。

网友都说，他真的是一名“学霸”！

王宇航第一次已经考进了全国最好的清华大学，为了转专业，竟然退学重考，难道他不怕第二次会考失败吗？

王宇航说他对自己回来重考很有信心。

但一开始，他的父母却很难理解他的决定。

信心 xìn xīn = confidence
理解 lǐ jiě = to understand

不过，最终他们接受了他的决定，并支持他，让他非常感动。

虽然王宇航比其它考生大两岁，但他表示，人生没有无用的经历。

他说，在清华的一年让他也更清楚地知道自己的目标。

经历 jīng lì = experience
目标 mù biāo = goal

这次他又想读什么专业呢？

他说，想读计算机软件相关的专业，以后往 AI (Artificial Intelligence) 的方向发展。

计算机软件 jì suàn jī ruǎn jiàn = computer software
发展 fā zhǎn = to develop / grow

他还想特别提醒其他同学们，在选专业时一定要提前了解，不能只相信书上或者网站上写的东西。

很多网友听了这个故事后，对这个学霸表示佩服。

但也有人建议，大学方面应该改变政策，支持学生们转专业，让他们有更多的选择。

如果只是为了换专业，就必须重考，那就真的是太浪费时间了。

佩服 pèi fú = to admire

浪费 làng fèi = to waste
